SERVICES:
Commonwealth Academy is an award-winning day school for average to gifted students with learning differences or ADHD. It offers a college prep program for students in grades 6-12, and a program with reading and math remediation for grades 3-5. Commonwealth’s curriculum is embedded with technology and compensatory strategies to address executive function and other challenges. Students blossom in a socially supportive environment. Classes are limited to 10 or fewer students in the Middle and High School (6 in the Lower School) and instruction is tailored to different learning styles. Accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, Commonwealth offers a full range of academic classes, including honors and AP courses, athletics, social activities, performing arts, clubs and community service opportunities.
