BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Takoma, D.C., bred in Silver Spring, Md., I earned a BA and MA in English and an MA in YA Librarianship. While in graduate school in English, I served as a Mentor Teacher in Writing and Literature. I have worked for many years as a secondary school English teacher and Learning Specialist. I have earned certificates in EF Coaching with Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, L.D. training with Bill Stixrud, and “structured language” at Jemicy. My passion is helping students define their values and goals. I love being with friends and family, swimming, and volunteering with "Free Minds."
