Starobin Counseling provides individual, couples, family and group therapy for autistic and non-autistic people and their family members addressing a range of mental health issues. We welcome LGBTQIA individuals and couples. We also have a number of group programs including Parents Together, parent support groups for parents of autistic children, adolescents, and young adults; Siblings Together, a sibling support group for siblings of autistic people; and Autistic Adult Support Groups, support groups for autistic adults. BIOGRAPHY:
Caron Starobin, LCSW-C, earned her MSW at the University of Maryland in 2000. She is certified in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), PEERS®, and also trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). She roots her therapeutic process in her years of study and practice in Structural Family Therapy and cultural competence, Family Systems studies at the Post-Graduate Program with the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Washington, D.C., and Relational Life Therapy at the Relational Life Institute founded by Terrence Real, LICSW, in Boston.
