SERVICES:
Colton provides a combination of academic tutoring and executive functioning coaching to help students navigate the rigors of school and become better students. The immediate goals of Colton's program are to improve grades and reduce homework stress, while the long-term goals are to build executive skills that students can take with them to college and beyond. Colton has particular interest in working with children dealing with ADHD and executive functioning deficits.
BIOGRAPHY:
Colton Turner has over a decade of experience as an educator in both classroom and private settings. During this time Colton has helped students of all ages and abilities become stronger in the academic and executive functioning arenas. Colton graduated from VCU in 2007 and has taken continuing education classes in child and adolescent psychology. He is trained in Orton-Gillingham's phonemic awareness approach to reading instruction.
