SERVICES:
I offer psychotherapy services to adolescents, young adults, and their parents seeking guidance on identity and the mental health effects of learning disabilities. I provide individual and family therapy, as well as parent coaching.
BIOGRAPHY:
My original background and training is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) from Columbia University's DBT Intensive Training Program/Linehan Institute. While I incorporate that training and those skills into my work, my passion is helping teens and young adults that struggle with the anxiety and depression of "being different" or having to work harder to achieve what others could just as I did when I was that age. I also enjoy helping parents adapt and cope with the expectations and understanding of having a child who might function a bit outside the box.
