SERVICES:
Skills to Launch provides specialized college and career transition services to individuals within the TBI/Concussion, Chronic Illness, and Neurodiverse communities. I utilize my experience from working in Disability/Accessibility Support in higher education to connect and educate students and families on accessibility options, while advocating for student needs within the process. I provide services ranging from accessibility/accommodation recommendations and consultation to hands-on academic coaching/support during the first semester/year to create a smoother transition. My services include a focus on health and wellness, and developing critical thinking and organizational capabilities necessary to properly acclimate to the academic and social changes within the college environment.
BIOGRAPHY:
Jonathan Miller, M.Ed. is the Founder of Skills to Launch, LLC. Jonathan worked at American University as a Disability Access Advisor and adjunct instructor within the AUx First-Year Transition Program. He served students with various diagnoses and conditions, advocating for individuals seeking housing, dining, physical access, classroom, and testing accommodations. Jonathan holds degrees from Penn State University (B.S) and Rutgers University (M.Ed.). He enjoys spending time with family/friends and his partner and their dog, in addition to running, boxing, golfing, woodworking, and yoga.
