We use a solution-based treatment approach that focuses on strengths. Our founder, Kathleen G. Nadeau, PhD, is an internationally recognized authority on ADHD and related conditions. Dr. Nadeau created The Chesapeake Center and brought together a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to provide dedicated treatment for ADHD, Learning Differences and related disorders.
Our treatment model combines pragmatic Cognitive / Behavioral Therapy with problem-solving, habit development and the creation of an ADHD-friendly lifestyle.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kathleen Nadeau, PhD, founder of The Chesapeake Center, is an internationally recognized authority on ADHD. She is a frequent lecturer both in the United States and abroad and provides professional training seminars on topics related to ADHD.
Dr. Nadeau is the author or co-author of over a dozen books related to ADHD that address ADHD issues across the lifespan.
Dr. Nadeau provides career assessments and clinical consultations and also she serves as clinical supervisor and mentor to Chesapeake staff members and is involved in program development.
