SERVICES:
Academic Tutoring, Middle School to College. Areas of expertise include math, writing, organization & study skills, and avoidance coping strategies, with an emphasis placed on strengthening self-efficacy.
Standardized Testing. One-on-one instruction for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, GRE, SSAT, ISEE, and HSPT that minimizes anxiety, inspires confidence, and maximizes performance. An individualized program is designed based on the student’s testing history, academic and extracurricular schedule, and ultimate score goals.
College Planning. Support services include the college search process, essay topic selection, essay writing, organization & time management, and scholarship research.
BIOGRAPHY:
Krista Irish has over fifteen years of experience in tutoring and educational consulting. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2000, a CHADD Parent to Parent Teacher certification in 2013, and a College Counseling Certificate from the University of California at San Diego in 2015. Before founding Krista Irish Consulting, LLC in 2019, Krista served as the Senior Program Director at MLS Educational Consultants for 12 years. She also worked as an SAT/ACT/GRE instructor at the Princeton Review for 3 years and served as the Head Diving Coach at The George Washington University for 4 years.
