The Learning Essentials tutoring team is your dedicated partner in bridging learning gaps, accessing special education services, and providing comprehensive support to families. Our expertise lies in research-based reading intervention, strategic written expression support, executive function enhancement and IEP guidance. Our team is equipped with advanced degrees in special education and brings extensive experience. We offer specialized in-person assistance within Montgomery County while extending our virtual support to families worldwide. We are unwavering in our commitment to empowering learners of all abilities and providing IEP coaching and support for families.
BIOGRAPHY:
Wendy Taylor, M.Ed., ET/P, serves students with diverse needs as a certified Educational Therapist, Orton-Gillingham practitioner, Educational Diagnostician, and IEP Coach. She also hosts the Special Ed Strategist® Podcast, empowering parents and professionals to navigate the complexities of special education. She has served on faculty at Saint Petersburg College, supervised pre-service teachers, and taught in Montgomery County Public Schools. She has a B.S. in Social Science and Secondary Education from Frostburg State University and a M.Ed. in Special Education from George Mason University.
